The photographic compartment is now one of the most interesting aspects for users when buying a new smartphone. And in 2018 Sony is ready to launch a new device with a revolutionary dual camera system.

We are talking about the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, first smartphone from the Japanese company equipped with the Motion Eye dual camera system. This is a new technology to improve the quality of shots that Sony presented at the Mobile World Congress in early 2018. Thanks to Motion Eye, the dual rear camera has a sensitivity of 51,200 ISO for photos and 12,800 ISO for videos. This allows you to take well-lit images even in low-light conditions. Not just quality photos though, because the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has several top-of-the-line features.

The new Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a 5.8-inch 4K HDR screen with 2160 x 3840 resolution. According to initial statements from the Japanese giant, the screen would be 30 percent brighter than older 4K HDR displays. Equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset properly supported by 6GB of RAM, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium runs Android Oreo 8.0. The new top of the range of the Japanese company also features Dynamic Vibration System, which enhances the sounds played while listening to music or playing with the smartphone thanks to a smart vibration system. The device is made entirely of glass and coated with Gorilla Glass 5. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has IP68 certification, that is resistant to dust and water. The battery will be of 3,540 mAh with fast charging system and wireless charging.

As mentioned the photographic compartment is the real feather in the cap of the new Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium. On the back of the device we find a dual camera with the aforementioned Motion Eye: a black and white sensor to capture contrasts and shadows; a color sensor to capture all the shades and hues. The data obtained will then be united in a unicuum by the AUBE photo coprocessor, designed by the same Sony.

It will also improve the bokeh function, the so-called portrait mode for perfect close-ups. As for the videos instead will have 4K resolution and above all there will be the possibility to create movies in super slow-motion. The front camera instead will be 13 megapixels with different filters and functions for selfies.
