The latest arrivals, presented today during an event in China, are two high-end devices, with technical features of the highest order and particularly interesting list price. These are the Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro, evolution of the Mi 9 launched a few months ago, and the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, an experimental device with a screen that goes well beyond the “usual boundaries” to continue even in the back. A “wraparound” display, which shows how the limits of the current factory form have not yet been fully explored.
Xiaomi Mi9 Pro 5G: technical specifications
Under the shell of the new top-of-the-line phone from the Chinese giant beats a 2.96GHz Snapdragon 855+ processor equipped with a VC Liquid Cooling system capable of lowering the temperature of the CPU by a good 10.2 degrees. From 8GB to 12GB RAM memory, while the storage capacity starts from 128GB and goes up to 512GB. Connectivity is entrusted to the latest generation 5G chip.
The battery is 4,000 mAh and supports three different charging modes: Mi Charge Turbo, 30W in wireless charging mode and only 69 minutes to fully charge the device; wired at 40W and 48 minutes for a full charge. There is also reverse wireless charging up to 10 Watts, which allows you to charge compatible devices using the energy still available in the accumulator.

The new Xiaomi Mi9 Pro 5G will soon be available on the Chinese market at a price that varies depending on the cut of RAM and storage chosen. Specifically: about 470 euros at the exchange rate for the 8GB/128GB version, about 486 euros for 8GB/256GB, about 524 euros for 12GB/256GB and, finally, about 550 euros for the top, the 12GB/512GB variant.
