Only one day left until the official presentation of the Xiaomi Mi 10 that will be held in China, but probably only online. Indeed, the Coronavirus is bringing the tech market to its knees, with many factories still not reopening and companies putting plans for new smartphones on hold. Xiaomi for the moment did not want to change its plans in a drastic way, but has only changed some ways to ensure maximum security for its employees and users.

For the presentation of the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro is all ready and in recent hours have arrived new confirmations on the characteristics of the two devices. To provide them is directly Lei Jun, CEO of the company, through his account on Weibo, social widely used in China. Lei Jun confirmed that the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro will have a screen with 90Hz refresh rate that will ensure greater speed in daily use and a super-fast charging at 50W. To know the rest of the features we just have to wait for February 13.

Technical data sheet Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro

Two similar smartphones, but not too much. As done in the past, Xiaomi will launch two versions of its top-of-the-line smartphone: Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro. The main difference will be in the size (the Mi 10 Pro will have a screen of at least 6.5 inches) and the number of rear cameras.

The Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro will share the same hardware architecture: Snapdragon 865 with 8-12GB of RAM and 128-256GB of internal storage. The Pro model will probably also have a version with 16GB of RAM. The Mi 10’s screen is expected to be 6-6.2 inches, while the Mi 10 Pro’s screen will go up to 6.5 inches. The edges will be slightly rounded.

On the photo compartment, the presence of the 108 Megapixel sensor has been confirmed on both the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro. In total, the rear sensors should be three or four, depending on the model chosen.

Battery of at least 4,000mAh with support for super fast charging at 50W. Wireless charging, on the other hand, will be 30W. Also present reverse wireless charging at 10W.

Price and release date Mi 10

Official presentation in China set for February 13, while in Europe Xiaomi will arrive on February 23 at the Mobile World Congress 2020, an event at which the Chinese company has confirmed its presence.

On the price of the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro there are many doubts. The CEO of the company has confirmed that they will be higher than in previous years due to the presence of top-notch hardware, but he did not blurt out more. In previous days there was talk of prices between 900 and 1000 euros, but they would not respect the philosophy of Xiaomi. Much more likely a launch price between 550 and 600 euros for the basic version and 650-700 euros for the Mi 10 Pro.
