Xiaomi is launching a 430W soundbar

Xiaomi will soon launch its first soundbar designed for global markets. It will have a truly remarkable audio power, as much as 430 watts

Xiaomi is notoriously a company engaged on several fronts. It produces smartphones and tablets, and mainly known for this, but also produces much more, from Smart TVs to electric scooters, through kettles and in some time even electric cars. In short, it makes everything, and soon we will see it engaged in the segment of soundbars.

This is not new for Xiaomi, which in the past has already produced some device to increase the involvement while watching a movie or a TV series, only that in our parts had never arrived one. Before now: yes because the Chinese company has just announced the Xiaomi Soundbar 3.1, which will be the first to arrive in global markets, Europe, therefore, included. And it comes with an amazing specification in particular: it will reach 430 watts of power, so it should be a high-end device that will fit great even in the largest environments. Here are the specifications communicated by the company.

Xiaomi Soundbar, what it looks like

The Xiaomi soundbar promises benchmark audio performance. The power is impressive: with 430 watts, any room can potentially become a movie theater, and you can enjoy any kind of content to the fullest. Like all other Xiaomi products, the soundbar also has a distinct smart propensity, to “meet” the user by simplifying operations.

So it has an NFC sensor on the surface that in a few moments allows you to interface with your smartphone, without having to perform operations or steps potentially complicated to those who, perhaps, are not particularly in tune with technology: just bring the back of the smartphone to the soundbar and that’s it, the two devices are paired so you can listen through the soundbar what is played by the smartphone.

Simple, like the LED on the surface that shows the operation of the soundbar Xiaomi. Then there are the on/off and volume adjustment buttons, as well as connection toggles. On the audio specification front, in addition to the “noisy” feature of 430 watts of power that is reached with the contribution of the wireless subwoofer, there is support for Dolby and DTS Virtual:X.

Xiaomi has kept other details such as the equipment in terms of inputs and outputs or the version of Bluetooth for itself, but there should be HDMI Arc, an input for the 3.5 mm audio jack and an optical port, along with the possibility of mounting it on the wall.

Xiaomi Soundbar, when it arrives

This is not the first time Xiaomi has ventured into the soundbar segment: in the past, others have been produced, but sold in selected markets such as China or India. The one just presented will be the first marketed worldwide, so this is a very important step for the Chinese company, which, however, has not yet communicated the details.

In the coming days or weeks will emerge all the information relating to marketing, in particular availability and price. The feeling, however, is that the time to see it in Europe may be short.
