The TV series chronicling the life of Maradona will soon be released on Amazon Prime Video. Here’s what it’s about and the release date of the individual episodes
Maradona: Sogno Benedetto is the new Amazon TV series dedicated to the phenomenal Argentine champion. The content has been announced for many months now, but only in these days the streaming platform has finally communicated what will be the release dates of each episode. It will be a series full of emotions.
The goal is to tell the exploits and the main moments of the Pibe de Oro’s life. It will be, therefore, a biographical series edited in detail, able to show all the nuances of the footballer: between triumphs, challenges, falls and shootings. The work has lasted for years precisely because the creators have scrupulously followed in his footsteps. In fact, the filming has crossed half the world. The series represents, therefore, a unique opportunity to discover Maradona’s exploits from a new point of view. The series will debut on October 29, 2021 on Prime Video, the episodes will not be released all at once. Here’s the schedule and plot.
Cast and Plot of Maradona: Sogno Benedetto
The filming of Maradona: Sogno Benedetto crossed the world, touching Argentina, Spain, Italy, Uruguay and Mexico, important places for the professional and private life of the protagonist. In fact, episode after episode, the audience will be able to relive the most salient moments of his existence, from an early age.
Diego Armando Maradona will be played in his different stages of life by three actors: Nazareno Casero, Juan Palomino and Nicolas Goldschmidt. The plot will start from the humble origins lived in Villa Fiorito in Argentina, the country of his birth. Maradona thanks to his talent will then arrive in Barcelona and later in Naples. Dopo mesi di attesa, Amazon Prime Video ha comunicato le date ufficiali in cui il pubblico potrà vedere la nuova serie Maradona: Sogno Benedetto. Ecco il calendario delle 10 puntate di circa un’ora:
- 29 ottobre: episodi dall’1 al 5
- 5 novembre: episodi 6 e 7
- 12 novembre: episodio 8
- 19 novembre: episodio 9
- 26 novembre: episodio 10
La serie è prodotta da BTF Media in collaborazione con Dhana Media e Latin We. The role of showrunner as well as that of director for the episodes shot in Argentina, Mexico and Uruguay is entrusted to Alejandro Aimetta. Other episodes were directed by Roger Gual and Edoardo De Angelis. All that remains is to wait until October 29 to connect to Prime Video and watch the exploits of the Pibe de Oro.
