With a rear camera, equipped with a 6.1-inch LCD screen and with several snazzy colors. That’s what Apple’s budget iPhone will look like
As the anticipation grows on Apple’s next top of the line, the iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max (which will be unveiled in a dedicated event on September 12, 2018), many of the users fond of Cupertino’s smartphones are wondering what Apple’s new budget phone, namely the iPhone XC, will look like.
For those who do not know, in fact, among the various iPhones 2018 Apple also plans to launch a “low-cost” model that should be a kind of iPhone 8 in its updated variant. Defining the iPhone XC as the new iPhone 8, and therefore an iPhone 9, would be wrong, however. The budget phone from Cupertino wants to break with the past at Apple, and in fact will be sold in very bright colors and never seen before on the various iPhones, even on the least expensive models. The iPhone XC will have a 6.1-inch screen equipped with LCD technology, but here is in detail price and features of one of the most anticipated iPhones in history.
iPhone XC: technical features
Let’s start with the design: iPhone XC will have the borderless screen already seen on the iPhone X of 2017. It won’t lack the notch on the top of the display to make room for the front-facing camera and various sensors, including FaceID for facial recognition. Despite being a cheaper model, as we can guess from the use of LCD screen and not OLED as on iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max, the difference between iPhone Xc and the two new top-of-the-line models from Apple in design will be very minimal. As mentioned, the cover will have several pastel colors, as confirmed by the C designation, which was already used on iPhone 5c one of the few Apple smartphone models with very different colors compared to Cupertino’s tradition. The certain colors for iPhone Xc for now are three: white, red and blue. To these will probably be added two versions orange and green. The processor on board the new iPhone XC will be the same A12 that we will also find on iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max. While the rear camera will be single, a bit in contrast with the fashion of the moment on the main mid-range and top of the range smartphones. According to some rumors, not yet confirmed, it is possible that this model will be launched in some countries as Dual-SIM.
iPhone XC: availability and launch price
According to the latest rumors the iPhone XC will be launched in Italy at a list price of 699 euros. In practice, almost the same figure chosen by Apple for the launch of the iPhone 8. Given that would confirm the theory that this is an update of its predecessor but with some interesting new features. On the other hand, the iPhone Xs model should arrive on the market for 909 euros and the iPhone Xs model will cost around 1149 euros. To have the confirmation of all these news we just have to wait for 19 hours of September 12, 2018, when Apple will raise the curtain on its new iPhones.
