What is CoopVoce, the virtual operator of the Coop

Also Coop has launched on the market its virtual operator that you can recharge even with the points of the shopping, here are the main offers and how to activate it

There are not only Iliad, Rabona Mobile and Kena in the world of MVNO phone operators. Even Coop, a well-known retail chain, has its own operator: it’s called CoopVoce, the prepaid offer for SMS, minutes and Internet that we can recharge while shopping.

CoopVoce is a fairly structured virtual operator and offers rechargeable plans for both individuals and businesses. It has numerous offers including giga, voice and SMS or just for Internet, as we will see later in more detail. In addition, unlike other competing operators, has additional packages, or extra gigs or minutes, which we can add to our monthly plan to customize it as much as possible according to our needs. And as mentioned above, it can be recharged not only with traditional methods but also with the spending points obtained in all the stores of the Coop chain.

What is CoopVoce

CoopVoce is a virtual operator born in 2007 from the collaboration between TIM and Coop Italia, which uses the GSM/UMTS/LTE network of the former state monopolist for the provision of the service. After a few months of experimentation, the prepaid service went into full operation in 2008 and as of December 31, 2017, CoopVoce registered 796,546 active lines. Customer support is available by contacting 188 or via WhatsApp at 3703010188. In addition, the various CoopVoce social pages, present on Facebook and Twitter, perform the function of customer support in real time.

How to activate CoopVoce SIM

Becoming a CoopVoce customer is quite easy. We can activate a new number or do a migration from another operator while keeping the already active mobile number. To activate the CoopVoce SIM we can go to the CoopVoce website, or simply go to the nearest Coop store.

The SIM costs 10 euros with 5 euros of traffic included.

The CoopVoce offers

There are several active rates for CoopVoce users. The most “basic” ones are Superfacile Coop and Veloce Coop, offered without a plan, but with costs according to consumption. In the case of Superfacile you pay 12 cents per SMS, 12 cents per minute for calls and connection charge of 12 cents. With Veloce Coop, on the other hand, calls cost 17 cents but have no connection charge. Internet plans instead range from 1GB per month in 4G for 4 euros up to 12GB per month in 4G for 12 euros. For those interested in a plan for calls to landline numbers there is Coop Casa. With 9 euros per month you have unlimited calls to landlines and other CoopVoce numbers, and 300 minutes to other mobile operators. There are also numerous all-inclusive packages. They range from Chiama Tutti 100, where for 5 euros we will have 100 minutes, 100 SMS and a 1GB in 4G up to Chiama Tutti 1000S which provides 1000 minutes, 1000 SMS and 5GB in 4G for 12 euros per month.

How to recharge CoopVoce

Many possibilities for recharging. They range from simple tobacconists to Coop stores. But also online on the app or on the CoopVoce website. Although the most interesting aspect is perhaps to use Coop points for a quick recharge. For every 250 Coop points we’ll have 5 euros of traffic.

The CoopVoce app

Through the CoopVoce app we can monitor the consumption of our monthly plan, or change the rates or add one of the additional packages for voice, giga and SMS. The app is free to download on both iOS and Android smartphones.
