Chinese company launches its first smartphone with dual rear cameras and 6-inch bezel-less screen. Launch price less than 100 euros
Smartphones made in China (and also called “cinafonini”) have captured an increasingly large slice of the market. In addition to Huawei, Honor and OnePlus that are the most famous companies, there are dozens of other Chinese companies that make smartphones with good value for money and are getting more and more success among the Italians.
Vernee is just one of these companies and in recent years has decided to enter the European market with interesting devices and with an almost unbeatable price. Very often the Chinese companies are also among the first to adapt to the novelties of the sector. The latest “fashion” in the world of smartphones is the bezel-less design, that is, with the screen that occupies more than 85% of the front of the device by eliminating the side bezels. From the Galaxy S8, to the LG G6, passing through the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, there are several models that have adopted this solution. To these smartphones we can also add the Vernee Mix 2, the new bezel-less smartphone from the Chinese company.
The features of the Vernee Mix 2 are certainly not top of the range, but it is one of the first mid-range smartphones on the market with bezel-less design and screen with an aspect ratio of 18:9. And to promote its device, the Chinese company decided to launch it on the market at a price of $99.
Technical specifications of the Vernee Mix 2
It’s not a top of the line, but the Vernee Mix 2 has very interesting technical features. The smartphone mounts a Helio P25 chipset (made by MediaTek) supported by 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The Vernee Mix 2 is the first smartphone from the Chinese company to also have a dual rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. The screen is 6 inches and will have an aspect ratio of 18:9 with Full HD resolution. The battery is 4200 mAh and the smartphone will launch with Android Nougat 7.0.
Very unique is the design of the Vernee Mix 2. In addition to not having any bezels on the sides and top (the front camera is placed at the bottom), the smartphone is made entirely of glass. Thanks to these materials, the device offers a beautiful mirror effect.
Vernee Mix 2 price and release date
The Vernee Mix 2 will be launched on the market at a price of $229. However, the Chinese company has created an ad hoc event that will allow 100 lucky people to buy the smartphone for $99. The Vernee Mix 2’s release date is expected to be between late October and early November.
