Twitter is not allowing tweets to be published since 10:30 p.m. on Feb. 7: here’s what’s going on
Twitter is down. The microblogging platform does not allow to publish tweets since 22:30 on February 7. The problem seems to concern the whole world and there are already hundreds of reports coming from all over Italy. Especially in these last evenings the social platform is very used in Italy because of the Sanremo Festival: there are thousands of messages that are published every minute by users who comment on the performances of the various artists.
The problem seems to be very serious: when you try to publish a tweet by pressing the “Tweet” button nothing happens, the loading goes empty and the message is not shared. The problem does not concern only text messages, but any kind of content: images, videos, GIFs. On downdetector.it, a site that helps to understand when a service or an app does not work, there are thousands of reports from users, looking for an answer as to why Twitter does not work. For the moment, there is no comment from the social platform’s technicians, who are certainly working to solve the problem as soon as possible.

Twitter doesn’t allow you to post messages, both from the desktop platform and via the Android and iOS app. The problem seems to be quite serious, as you can’t post any kind of tweets. For the moment, the causes of Twitter down are not known, but most likely they concern the application’s servers. From the microblogging platform there has not been any kind of communication, but surely the technicians are working to solve the problem as soon as possible.
