Black day for internet connections in Italy. After the problems recorded since the night of October 20 on the network of Tiscali, since a few hours there are reports of a down in progress also on the networks of TIM and Iliad. From hour to hour the reports of malfunctions and failures are increasing both on sites such as Downdetector and on Twitter.

It is not yet clear what is causing the malfunctions, with users reporting not being able to access some sites and services. The problems affect both fixed and mobile internet networks, and in addition to Iliad, TIM and Tiscali, other services on the day of Tuesday, October 20 also present problems including WhatsApp, Instagram, PlayStation Network, EA, eBay, Apple’s App Store, Office 360 and Amazon. What seems to be an “internet down”, could be related to network traffic routing problems.
