During the PlayStation Experiece the guys from Naughty Dog have announced the second chapter of The Last of Us, video game that marked an era
The Last of Us was a surprise presentation and Sony has not betrayed the expectations. During the PlayStation Experience in Anaheim the guys from Naughty Dog have presented the trailer for The Last of Us: Part 2. The first chapter had just returned to the shelves with a new improved version for the PlayStation 4 Pro and had made fans of the video game happy.
But the presentation of the trailer was a real blow to the hearts of fans. The Last of Us is one of the most iconic video games of the last decade. An award-winning title, it was released exclusively in 2013 for PlayStation 3 and showed the whole world the full potential of Sony’s old console. And now the software house Naughty Dog is ready again to amaze and take full advantage of the potential of the PlayStation 4 Pro. During the event dedicated to the video game, were also released the first details about the plot: the protagonists will still be Joel and Ellie, but in this chapter the gamer will have to impersonate the female character of the couple.
What should we expect from The Last of Us: Part II
From the first images and the statement of the producers, The Last of Us: Part II will have the same setting as the first chapter, the only thing that will change will be the protagonist of the story. At the center of the story there will be Ellie and this will inevitably lead to major changes in gameplay: the girl does not have the same physical strength as Joel and most likely the video game will turn on stealth game dynamics. But as for the setting, zombies will always be the main character: Naughty Dogs will try to propose the best representation of a post-apocalyptic world ever appeared on consoles.
In comparison to the first chapter, Ellie has grown up (a couple of years have passed) and seems to have developed a consciousness that will lead her to face zombies without any fear. The player will have to deal with a girl who is determined and strongly convinced of her decisions, but if the first episode was imbued with the love between Ellio and Joel, in The Last Part of US: Part II hatred will be the main character. A change of script that will surely have repercussions on the gameplay.
As regards, however, the release date, it is still all shrouded in mystery. To see The Last of US: Part II, you’ll have to wait quite some time.
