As announced some time ago by Pavel Durov, the creator of the app, video calls have finally made their debut on Telegram, even if for the moment only for the beta version. The operation of video calls on Telegram is very simple and practically identical to that of other messaging apps. The interface is also very simple to use: you can make the switch between front and rear camera, turn video on or off, mutate the microphone and close the call. How to use video calls on Telegram

With the arrival of video calls Telegram becomes a complete app in all respects. If you’re familiar with the medium, using video calls on Telegram won’t cause you any problems. To start one, you just have to access the chat, press on the three dots at the top right and a small menu will appear. Among the entries you will also find video call and just press it to start it.

How to enable video calls on Telegram

The feature at the moment is only available for the Android beta version for Telegram, version 7.0. Users can download it online without any problem, but you have to be sure not to lose important data from your smartphone. In order to make a video call, the recipient must also have Telegram version 7.0 or higher installed.
