Very Mobile is the new low-cost virtual operator of Wind Tre. As Tim and Vodafone have already done in the past, Wind-Tre also wanted to boost its offer with a virtual operator that relies on its own network and has competitive rates. Very Mobile’s first offer includes unlimited minutes and SMS, 30GB of data (with download speeds of 30 mega per second) at €4.99 per month.
Very Mobile’s goal is to challenge Iliad on its own field, with an operator with low offers and no hidden costs. All premium services are disabled by default and in case of problems there is a dedicated support. Many are thinking of switching to Very Mobile to save on the monthly subscription: how do you make the switch? What are the SIM card activation costs? Are there any extra costs for those who arrive making the switch from particular operators? To all these questions there is a very precise answer that we will try to explain in the next few lines.
How to switch Very Mobile
To become a Very Mobile customer you can access the website of the mobile operator and buy the SIM card. When signing up for the offer you can indicate your phone number and your operator to make the portability. Usually the transfer of your number to Very Mobile is carried out in a maximum of three working days. In order not to have problems, it is necessary to fill out the form correctly during the online purchase.
How much does it cost to switch to Very Mobile
For the purchase of the SIM and activation, the cost is 5 euros one-off. This price, however, does not apply to everyone, but only for those who make the switch from virtual operators, Iliad and Fastweb. If you are a Wind Tre, Vodafone or TIM customer, the cost of switching to Very Mobile is 25 euros.
The peculiarities, however, do not end there. The operator has published online a document in which it specifies that the cost of the transition to Very Mobile for those who are not customers Wind – Three, but has been in the 30 days prior to the request for portability, is charged an additional amount of 19 euros to be deducted from the remaining credit. This decision was taken to avoid triangulations from Wind – Tre to Very Mobile.
The same applies to those who are now Tim and Vodafone customers, but come from Wind – Tre and the switch was made in the last 30 days. In this case the cost of the changeover is 44 euros: 25 euros of the basic rate plus 19 euros provided by Very Mobile.
Very Mobile Offers
For the moment there is only one Very Mobile offer available, with a discounted price valid for the first 20,000 subscriptions. The cost is €4.99 per month to get unlimited minutes, SMS and 30GB of data traffic. The Very Mobile offer does not include extra costs and some services such as “I’ve been looking for you”, “RingMe”, “Hotspot” are free. For roaming abroad you can use unlimited minutes and SMS and 2.4GB of data. Customer support is also available by calling 1929 or 800994444 (number for non-customers). On the Google Play Store and App Store there is the free Very Mobile app, where you can activate and manage your SIM card.
