According to the Digital TV Research report, in 2026 there will be mainly three subscription services with a periodic fee that will control almost half of the active subscriptions at a global level. Leading the way will be Disney+, which, with 284 million subscribers of which 140 will be added in the 2021-2026 period alone, will go on to take the place that has so far been jealously guarded by Netflix.
