Spusu Mobile, all the news of the new low-cost mobile operator

The new low-cost mobile virtual operator Spusu, already very successful in Austria, will arrive in Italy by the first quarter of 2020 and also in our country will rely on the Tre network. This has been confirmed by two managers of the Austrian company, Christian T. Anton and Karl Katzbauer, to the website MondoMobileWeb.

In an interview full of details, Anton and Katzbauer explain that Spusu has chosen the Wind – 3 network also for Italy on the basis of the positive experience in Austria, where the virtual operator has hoarded customers stealing them from many incumbents thanks to the flexibility of the rates. The same flexibility will be replicated in Italy, where the market is already very crowded and competitive. According to Anton, however, this abundant competition will help Spusu because the Italian user is already accustomed to change operator often and will not have, therefore, prejudices to switch to Spusu.

Spusu in Italy: it will be a customer-friendly operator

The two managers of Spusu have explained that the intention of the new operator is not only to compete on price, but also on the quality of customer service. All the phases of the passage from the old operator to Spusu, therefore, will be followed by the staff of the new operator in order to relieve the user from all tasks. Spusu customers, moreover, will have the possibility to change their tariff plan every month, at zero cost. The idea, explains Anton to MondoMobileWeb, is that “customers should not be tied to an operator because of a contract but by their own will”. The flexibility of the tariff change will be made possible by the fact that, unlike other operators, Spusu does not outsource anything: “We develop our software on our own and our flexibility in this sense is maximum. We have the ability to think of a tariff in the morning and have it available for purchase in the afternoon.”

Spusu: the 5G network

Initially Spusu will not bid for the 5G network in Italy, but as soon as the market is sufficiently mature it will. In Austria, for example, Spusu has already purchased frequencies and has commercial offers for 5G surfing. With the foreseeable sharp increase in data consumption resulting from 5G, on the other hand, Spusu’s offers will become even more interesting for Italian customers as well.

Spusu: the prefix will be 3780

The ICCID (Integrated Circuit Card ID) code of Spusu SIMs sold in Italy will start with 893956, while the prefix of telephone users activated with this operator will be 3780. Almost everything, by now, is ready for the arrival of Spusu in Italy.
