Samsung Galaxy M01 is the new low-cost smartphone from the South Korean company. On board the Snapdragon 439 with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of memory
The days are gone when Samsung made only high-end, premium smartphones that cost quite a bit more than competitors. Now the competitors are fierce, like Redmi and Realme, and there are markets where you have to be present with very low cost products, like India. And in India, at the beginning of June, will arrive the new Samsung Galaxy M01.
This device, which will be launched together with the Galaxy M11 only slightly richer in the equipment, will be priced just under 100 euros (at current exchange rates) and will have virtually nothing of what many consider essential in a smartphone today: there will not even the fingerprint sensor, replaced by the facial unlock. There will be only two cameras and charging will be slow. The battery will be large but the SoC is old and 12 nm, so it consumes a lot. In short: the Samsung Galaxy M01 will be a very cheap device, for a mass market like India, born to compete with equally cheap smartphones like the Realme C3 and the Redmi 8A. Will Samsung be able to beat Xiaomi/Redmi and BBK/Realme?

Samsung Galaxy M01: when it comes out and how much it costs
The Samsung Galaxy M01’s release date in India, again according to 91Mobiles.com, is scheduled for June 5 (both online and in physical stores). The price set for the 3/32 GB version is 7,990 Indian rupees, which at today’s exchange rate makes 96.5 euros. It is not yet known on which other markets, in addition to India, Samsung will decide to sell the Galaxy M01 but it is certain that it will arrive at least in Kazakhstan: the page on this low cost model, in fact, has already appeared on the Kazakh website in Russian language of Samsung. At the moment it’s empty and shows the model with the initials SM-M015F/DS, but it’s there and it’s accessible.
In the past, the South Korean company has already presented the Galaxy M series smartphones in India and then brought them to Italy. It is not excluded that it will do so this time as well.
