The BE-FREE offer lands on Amazon thanks to the agreement between Fiat and Leasys: long-term, all-inclusive rental and the Fiat 500 is available in just a few clicks
Rentaling cars online will now also be possible on Amazon. The initiative is the result of a partnership between Fiat, a leader in the automotive sector with a widespread network of dealers throughout Italy, and Leasys, a company specializing in long-term rental and automotive services, controlled by FCA Bank.
The innovative BE-FREE service provides a fixed monthly amount for the entire duration of the rental contract – 48 months and 60,000 km – including VAT and no down payment, which includes RCA insurance, road tax, roadside assistance and the possibility of managing all services related to the Fiat 500 through the Leasys app. This particular BE-FREE rental offer for a Fiat 500 Pop 1.2-liter 69 hp, moreover, is designed specifically for Amazon.it: 179 euros per month. Just buy a welcome “kit” of 99 euros to be entitled to the promotion dedicated to Amazon customers who save 20 euros per month compared to the normal fee.
Free to use the car “without worries”
Amazon’s Customer Service, once purchased the kit, will contact the customer to indicate the Fiat dealer where to go to deliver the documents relating to the administrative part and establish the terms of delivery. Those who change their mind, or change their mobility needs, have the option to return the Fiat 500 after the first year without any early return penalty. In addition to the standard rental offer, there is also the BE-FREE PLUS package which, in addition to what is already provided, also includes damage, theft, fire and ordinary and extraordinary maintenance coverage, at a price of 269 euros per month, again with a discount of 20 euros per month on the conventional fee.
Choice online, but collection from the dealer
The idea of BE-FREE stems from two main factors. The first concerns the strong increase of e-commerce in recent years and the second the requests expressed by customers through targeted surveys. The 50% of Italians interviewed who declare themselves willing to choose a car online, however, ask – in 97% of cases – to still be able to pick it up from a dealer. So Fiat and Leasys have taken steps to make this possible. And then, dealing with the web, also the delivery times and the management of the practices decrease.
