Realme will be the first company in the Android landscape to offer magnetic wireless charging, while Realme Flash the first smartphone to support it
We won’t have to wait long to find out everything about the first magnetic wireless charging in the Android landscape, which will be presented by Realme on August 3 during a dedicated event.
The device that will be the first to support magnetic wireless charging that the Oppo subsidiary will call MagDart will be Realme Flash, whose name anticipates the concept of speed around which the smartphone has been designed. Speed that comes from both a hardware that between chips and memories is expected to the top, both from the magnetic wireless charging technology that, too, was designed having in mind the speed of the process. Despite the fact that magnetic wireless charging is a relatively young technology – at the moment only Apple offers it on the iPhone 12 – Realme has invested a lot to evolve the process, and judging from rumors about Realme Flash and its MagDart it would have succeeded.
Realme Flash’s MagDart charging
Realme Flash will therefore propose a system very similar to Apple’s, with a magnetic zone on the rear surface that, however, it is said, will always be visible thanks to a ring-shaped pattern in correspondence of the affected area.
The rumors are “crazy” about the news, and in recent days have tried to describe as many details as possible. So it turns out that the slower magnetic wireless charging that will be offered by the duo Realme Flash and MagDart will have a power of 15 watts, which is the maximum to which the current iPhone 12 with MagSafe can be pushed.
The charger designed by Realme to realize the “slow” magnetic wireless charging will be similar to Apple’s device, so it will be very thin and light; there are few doubts about it and its 15 watts charging.
There are a few more about the second model of MagDart magnetic charger, also because it is an absolute novelty, that is considering the whole smartphone panorama. It will be a fast magnetic wireless charger, and the considerable charging power is at the basis of its size that should be abundant.
The MagDart accessory will be made entirely of metal to help dissipate the heat that will inevitably be generated during the charging of Realme Flash and other compatible products, and for this it seems in all probability in the lower part there will be an active cooling system, presumably a fan with a rather obvious vent for the passage of air.
No precise information on possible charging power, although the prevailing hypothesis is that it could be around 30 watts.
Realme Flash: it will be a “top”
Realme Flash should be a top of the range Android smartphone, or at least high-end. It could not be otherwise for a product that is expected to arrive with the Snapdragon 888 chip and up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
The few information filtered so far speculate the use of three cameras on the back and little else, but we will not have to wait long to find out every aspect on its account.
