Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro features revealed: the two new lowcost smartphones. Here’s how they are made
Realme is ready to launch two new smartphones with lowcost price but top features. These are the Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro, two phones with a modern design and a punch hole display to minimize the bezels and with the front camera integrated in the upper left corner.
The back of the smartphones instead houses the camera compartment inserted into rectangular elements, always in the upper left corner. The Realme 7 can count on four sensors in a vertical line, with LED flash at the side, while the Realme 7 Pro shows an inverted L arrangement of sensors with the LED flash at the bottom almost drawing a C. For both smartphones, the operating system is Android 10, with a custom RealmeUI interface. The launch date in India is set for September 10 for Realme 7 and September 14 for the 7 Pro version.
Realme 7, features
The Realme 7 smartphone does not support the 5G connectivity standard, as the chipset is a MediaTek Helio G95 that can rely on 6 or 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and two internal memory sizes of 64 or 128 GB, expandable up to 256 GB with microSD. The 6.5-inch display is Full HD+ with 1080×2400 pixel resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate, protected by a Gorilla Glass and with punch hole technology for the 15-megapixel front camera housing.
The rear camera compartment is good and sees a vertical configuration with 64-megapixel main sensor, 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens and two other 2-megapixel sensors: one for portraits and one macro. The fingerprint reader is integrated into the power and unlock status. The 5000 mAh battery ensures a long life and supports Dart Charge fast charging at 30 watts.
Realme 7 Pro, features
The Realme 7 Pro version on the other hand can count on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor and is available in two variants of 6 or 8 GB LPDDR4x RAM and with 128 or 356 GB full memory. The 6.4-inch display is a SuperAMOLED with Full HD+ resolution and punch hole technology for the front-facing camera, which has 32-megapixel resolution.
The photo compartment on the back has a quad C-shaped configuration, with main sensor always 64-megapixel, secondary ultra wide-angle 8-megapixel, monochrome and macro 2-megapixel. Lower battery capacity, which is 4500 mAh compared to the Realme 7, however it supports Dart Charge fast charging at 65 watts.
Realme 7 and 7 Pro, pricing and launch date
Launch dates for the phones and pricing have already been announced by the Chinese company. The Realme 7 will be available in India starting September 10 in Mist White and Mist Blue colors. The price for the 6 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage version is 14,999 rupees, about 190 euros at the current currency exchange rate. The Realme 7 Pro will go on sale in Mirror White and Mirror Blue from September 14 at a price of 19,999 rupees, about 250 euros, for the version with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage space, and 21,999 rupees, about 280 euros, for the version with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal memory.
