Quando arriva il sequel di Sex and the city

And just like that… racconterà la vita delle protagoniste di Sex and the city circa vent’anni dopo la serie madre. Ecco di cosa parlerà e quando arriva in Italia

And just like that… è il titolo dell’attesissimo sequel di Sex and the city.

Viewers, however, will see a new version of Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte: they are now grown up and now have to juggle marriages, children and careers. On the other hand, 17 years have passed since the final season. The sequel will not disappoint anyone, neither those who want to relive the old days, nor those who have a desire for novelty.

Sex and the City sequel: the plot

And just like that… tells an important transition for the protagonists: from life in their thirties to fifty years, with its joys and sorrows. The three friends will still be together after about twenty years. The sequel picks up their everyday life at the age of fifty. They have grown up but still live in New York. Miranda and Charlotte have two teenage children, while Carrie is still very romantic. According to some rumors, the first episode will tell about the divorce between Carrie and Big.

No actress took the role of Samantha, her absence will be justified with a busy life away from New York. However, there will be a new female character, a documentary filmmaker friend of Carrie’s, who has similar traits to Samantha.

Not only talk and walks through the busiest streets of the Big Apple, at the center of the plot there will also be social networks, just to emphasize the evolution of the society in which the protagonists live.

There will be some great returns, including John Corbett (Aidan Shaw) present in some episodes. As mentioned, there will also be the iconic Mr. Big, played by actor Chris Noth.

In the cast we find many familiar faces but also several new entries, including Sara Ramírez, queer character. We will also know Sarita Choudhury, Nicole Ari Parker, Karen Pittman, Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, Willie Garson and Evan Handler.
