Samsung would be testing over 20 different versions of its user interface for Android. Soon, however, will come the final version
Samsung is testing, since early September, several beta versions of its OneUi 2.0, which will bring on the Korean manufacturer’s smartphones the new Android 10 operating system. There are some indications that it’s not long before some Samsung smartphones receive OneUi 2.0 with Android 10.
It is known that Samsung is internally testing over 25 versions of One Ui based on Android 10, both on devices with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon SoC and with its own Exynos. Added to these 25 test versions is the one specifically for the Galaxy Note 10 with Exynos. Initially, it seemed likely that Samsung wanted to release OneUi 2.0 beta with Android 10 only in South Korea and only for the Galaxy S10, S10+ and S10e.

OneUi 2.0 on Galaxy Fold and Galaxy S8
In the list, as you may have noticed, the Samsung Galaxy Fold is missing. It’s very difficult for Samsung to bring OneUi 2.0 with Android 10 to its first foldable smarptohne anytime soon: this device in fact requires a specific optimization of the interface, which could lead to a longer release time. And that makes it likely that Samsung will update the Fold only in the mid-2020s. The absence of the Galaxy S8, S8+ and Note 8 from this list, on the other hand, depends on the fact that they are all devices from over 2 years ago, so Samsung no longer has any engagement with their owners. It might update them, but it’s highly unlikely.
