Nokia is ready to launch its new mid-range smartphone, the Nokia X6, on the market. A budget phone with notch screen, and dual rear camera
Nokia has just presented in China the its first smartphone with notch, the Nokia X6. Announced some time ago, this is a mid-range device characterized by a design with attention to every detail (as usual, for the Finnish manufacturer) and very competitive price.
The most interesting aspect, as you can imagine, is represented by the design, apparently “standard” but embellished by the notch (the notch on the top made famous by Apple’s iPhone X). On the back of the Nokia X6 instead finds space a dual camera, with the two sensors placed vertically, and the fingerprint sensor. The display has an aspect ratio of 19:9 and a resolution FullHD+ (1080×2280 pixels). It is a 5.8-inch screen with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. In addition, the Nokia X6 will be marketed as a dual-sim smartphone.
Technical features Nokia X6
Aboard the new Nokia X6 we find the octa-core SnapDagon 636 processor, combined with 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM, depending on the model you decide to buy. Even the storage is different depending on the version we buy: the cheapest one has 32 gigabytes of internal memory, while the most expensive 64 gigabytes. Both are expandable via microSD up to 256GB. The unlocking of the phone will work in addition to the fingerprint sensor with facial recognition. Nokia’s new mid-range smartphone comes with a USB Type-C port and also a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on board the Nokia X6 include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope and proximity sensor. Finally, the battery is 3060 mAh that thanks to the Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging system can recharge up to 50 percent in just 30 minutes.
Nokia X6 photo compartment
The Nokia X6 features a dual rear camera with a 16-megapixel sensor and a 5-megapixel monochrome sensor. At the front of the device, however, we find a 16-megapixel selfie camera. All three sensors have an f/2.0 focal aperture. Photos are enhanced by artificial intelligence installed in the camera software. The AI recognizes faces, optimizes portraits and improves colors in landscapes. Nokia X6 supports Bothie function, thus allowing users to simultaneously use both front and rear cameras.
Nokia X6, availability and price in Italy
At the moment in China Nokia’s new mid-range smartphone costs about 170 euros in the version with 4GB of RAM and 224 euros in the version with 6GB of RAM. But it is very likely that in Europe these prices will undergo a slight increase. At the moment the smartphone can already be purchased on the Asian market while in the coming weeks we will have more information about its release in Italy and Europe.
