Nokia 9 technical specifications: more powerful than the Galaxy S8 according to tests

Given the frequency with which rumors and indiscretions follow each other, it should not be missing much. The date of release of Nokia 9 is approaching more and more and finally you can know in detail what should be the rival of Samsung Galaxy S8, iPhone 8 (or iPhone x as you like), LG G6 and Huawei P10.

After the past few weeks had appeared the first images and the first rendering related to the top of the range device of the Finnish manufacturer, this time it’s the turn of the technical specifications. Merit of the test results appeared on the major benchmark platforms dedicated to the world of mobile phones: Geekbench and AnTuTu. In this way it was possible to discover that, in addition to the dual rear camera, the Finnish smartphone has all the credentials to compete at least on par with the big boys in the industry, Galaxy S8 and iPhone 8 in the lead. We just have to wait for the presentation to find out if the technical characteristics of the Nokia 9 correspond to those of the rumors or if it is a wrong anticipation.

Technical sheet Nokia 9, the anticipations

The AnTuTu test, appeared in recent hours, allows to shed light on some of the most interesting technical specifications of the top of the range of the historic Finnish manufacturer. In addition to the dual camera lens (with a 13-megapixel sensor each) we come to discover that the Nokia 9 will mount the Snapdragon 835 processor (the best on the market, at the moment), accompanied by the Adreno 540 graphics accelerator, 4 gigabytes of RAM and 64 gigabytes of storage memory. It is not excluded, however, that Nokia will also decide to release an enhanced version of the device equipped with as many as 8 gigabytes of RAM (as already seen on the Nubia Z17).

The AnTuTu benchmark also allows us to discover details about the Nokia 9’s display. The top-of-the-line smartphone should mount a 2K LCD panel, with 2560×1440 resolution. No surprises, however, as far as the operating system is concerned: the Nokia 9 should arrive with Android Nougat 7.1.1 in stock version.
