Nokia 8.3, new low-cost smartphone coming: features

The Nokia 8.3 is the new budget device from the Finnish company. Here are the features and how much it will cost

Nokia is ready to launch a new smartphone on the market. This is the Nokia 8.3, a mid-range smartphone with very interesting features. The Finnish manufacturer has delayed the arrival of new devices because of the Coronavirus, but now it seems ready to start launching new Android smartphones again. The first on the list is the Nokia 8.3, a smartphone that has been talked about a lot in recent months and of which we now know almost all the features.

It is a mid-range device, but that winks at the upper end of the market. On board should be the Snapdragon 765G chipset, a processor that also integrates a 5G modem that will allow users to surf at the highest possible speed. Nokia has also focused on the photographic compartment, creating ad hoc technologies that allow to improve the quality of the shots. The lenses are made by ZEISS, as on previous Nokia smartphones. The arrival of the Nokia 8.3 should be imminent, since it has already appeared on some European e-commerce sites. The presentation will most likely take place online.

Nokia 8.3, the data sheet

Very interesting features those of Nokia 8.3. On board there will almost certainly be the Snapdragon 765G processor with to support 6-8GB of RAM and 64-128GB of internal storage, depending on the model chosen. The screen is expected to be 6.81 inches with FullHD+ resolution (with a very stretched design).

Let’s move on to the camera compartment. Nokia has once again worked with ZEISS to ensure excellent quality shots. At the back there is a 64 Megapixel main sensor, 12 Megapixel wide-angle camera, 2 Megapixel depth sensor and 2 Megapixel macro camera. At the front there is a 24 Megapixel sensor.

The battery is expected to be 4500mAh with 18W charging support. On the device’s body there will also be a button to immediately activate Google Assistant.

When the Nokia 8.3 comes out

The launch of the device seems to be really imminent: the announcement of the Nokia 8.3 could take place already in the next few weeks, if not days. There is still no news about the price of the smartphone, but seeing the data sheet it should not exceed 400 euros.
