Nokia 105, coming soon 10 euro phone

The Nokia 105 is an “old-school” phone with 4MB of RAM and 4MB of internal memory. The color screen will be only 1.8 inches big

At the same time as developing new Android smartphones, Nokia and HMD Global are also pursuing the creation of featured phones, which are old-school phones with a keypad and a very small screen. After the success obtained by the Nokia 3310, the two Finnish companies have decided to continue in the realization of low-cost cell phones and suitable for those who do not like applications.

HMD Global and Nokia have announced the release in the coming months of the Nokia 105 and Nokia 130. In fact, these are new versions of two phones that were already released in the past years, which are now being re-proposed with new features and functionality. The uniqueness of the two Finnish phones lies in the battery that ensures a duration of more than seven days (the Nokia 130 in standby can get up to a month) and in the operating system that does not offer the latest applications.

Nokia 105

As per tradition, the Finnish company every two years makes a new version of the Nokia 105. The first model was made in 2013, then Microsoft in 2015 presented a new version and now HMD Global is ready to launch a new one that is completely different from the others. The first feature that immediately jumps to the eye is the 1.8-inch color screen, much larger than the past versions. The new Nokia 105 mounts 4MB of RAM and 4MB of internal memory, the bare minimum to save phone numbers and make calls. The battery is 800 mAh and allows 15 hours of calls. The Finnish phone uses the Nokia Series 30+ operating system and offers the latest version of Snake. The Nokia 105 will be priced just over 10 euros.

Nokia 130

The Nokia 130 is the new version of a cell phone already released in 2014. The features are slightly better than the Nokia 105: the phone mounts 4MB of RAM and 8MB of internal memory. In the SIM card tray you can also insert a MicroSD card to expand the memory up to 32GB. The screen is 1.8 inches with a 128 x 160 pixel resolution. The battery is 1080 mAh and ensures a standby time of more than 20 days. Like the Nokia 105, it mounts the Nokia Series 30+ operating system with the ability to use five Gameloft games, including Snake. The price of the Nokia 130 is slightly higher, but should not exceed 20 euros.
