The new Fiat 500 Hey Google allows you to connect to your car remotely: what the new Italian citycar can do
The new Fiat 500 Hey Google is the Italian citycar that integrates the virtual assistant and allows remote control of the car when you’re not on board. Users will be able to open the car remotely and ask for groceries to be delivered directly into their trunk by the delivery man.
The car is the result of the collaboration between Fiat and Google, and includes integration between Mopar Connect and the Google Assistant to add interesting smart features to the car through Action My Fiat. In this way, it will always be possible to find out if windows or doors are open, and close them, or to know where it has been parked, how much fuel is left and where the nearest workshop is. Together with the car, the customer will also receive a Google Nest Hub: thanks to the smart display, he will be able to use his voice to interact with the car, or use his smartphone to find all the information he needs.
Fiat 500 Hey Google: how it works and what it can do
The integration of the Google Assistant with the Mopar Connect telematics box allows users to interact with the car through Action My Fiat to ask for all the information related to the car’s location, the state it is in and statistics on the kilometers driven during the day. The eternal doubt of having left the car open or closed can be resolved with a quick remote control, which allows you to remedy the situation by closing the doors and the trunk.
In addition, thanks to the Google Nest Hub supplied when the car was purchased, it will be possible to use voice commands to activate the flashing of the emergency lights, and even to do the shopping and have it delivered directly to your car, opening the trunk remotely to the delivery driver at the right time.
