From the presentation of the Mi 6X we can get news about the Mi A2, new low-cost mid-range produced by Xiaomi. It will mount the Snapdragon 660 with a 6″
After the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S the MI 7, the Chinese company is also working on a new version of the Mi A1, the first Android One smartphone made by Xiaomi and which made its debut last year. The smartphone will arrive in China under the name Mi 6X, but in all likelihood it will be marketed in Europe under the name Mi A2 (as already happened with the Mi 5X/Mi A1).
The device was presented in China under the name Mi 6X, receiving immediate praise from the industry press. There is now to wait for the Chinese manufacturer, which also landed in Italy at the end of 2017, to present the device in Europe, this time with the name Mi A2. The previous model has been a big success in terms of sales: the presence of a stock version of Android and the excellent value for money has also convinced many Italian users to buy the smartphone on Chinese stores (in the Bel Paese it has only been available for a few months). From the images coming from China you can see that the Mi A2/MI 6X mounts a screen with 18:9 ratio with very thin bezels.
Features Xiaomi Mi A2
Available in five different colors (Red, Black, Gold, Pink and White), the Mi A2 has a 5.99-inch screen with FullHD+ and 18:9 ratio, but without notch. The Mi A2 spec sheet continues with the Snapdragon 660 SoC supported by 4 or 6 gigabytes of RAM and 64 or 128 gigabytes of storage.
The rear houses the fingerprint sensor and the two photo lenses, arranged vertically (iPhone X style). Specifically, the Mi A2/Mi 6X mounts a 12-megapixel Sony IMX486 main sensor and a 20-megapixel Sony IMX376 secondary sensor, both with f/1.75 aperture: a combination that allows you to take great photos even in low light conditions and get well-defined bokeh effects in the case of panoramic photos. The front camera, however, mounts the same sensor Sony IMX376 from 20 megapixels that we find on the back.

Price and release date Xiaomi Mi A2
The Xiaomi Mi 6X combines technical features from mid-high-end at prices decidedly low cost. In the 4/64 GB version the MI 6X costs just over 200 euros; in the 6/64 GB version the price rises to about 230 euros; in the 6/128 GB version it comes to just over 250 euros. Xioami Mi A2 prices, at the moment, refer to the Chinese market: likely that with the landing in Europe undergo a slight upward adjustment.
