Looking for an alternative to Photoshop? Here are the best

The program for photo editing developed by Adobe seems to have beaten the competition, although the alternatives are certainly not lacking

All at least once in our lives we have needed to retouch an image and we went looking for the best program to remove those annoying red eyes from the photo. In cases like these the best software you can use is Photoshop.

The program developed by Adobe over the years has managed to consolidate its market share and constantly improve the service it offers: new tools, new user interface, new updates to make it more stable. But the only big problem with Photoshop is the price: in fact, to buy an official license for the program you have to spend quite a few euros or alternatively subscribe to Adobe Creative Cloud, the service that lets you use the entire Adobe suite without having to buy it. If you don’t want to spend a high amount of money, especially if you are not a professional and you use the program for photo editing sporadically, there are many alternative programs to Photoshop, both free and paid, but with a much lower cost than the program developed by Adobe.

The tools offered cannot be compared to those of Photoshop, but for novices they are more than enough. Also, free programs like GIMP are no match for established Adobe software. On the Web you can find dozens and dozens of alternatives to Photoshop, each with its own features and functionality. To discover them, just browse through the photo gallery.
