LG Q6, the compact smartphone with Full Vision screen

LG presents three versions of the new smartphone: LG Q6 alpha, LG Q6 and LG Q6 plus. The only difference, besides the colors, RAM and internal memory

LG has officially presented its new smartphones that will be positioned in the mid-range price range. The South Korean company, after the good success of the LG G6, tries to exploit the “emotional wave” by presenting LG Q6, a sort of younger brother than the top of the range, from which it takes shapes and display. But with very different technical features and above all made in three different versions.

Despite not being top of the range smartphones, the South Korean company has opted for top quality materials (the body is made entirely of metal) and the FullVision screen already seen on the LG G6. Display that positions the three devices certainly in a slightly higher range than the classic mid-range, such as the Huawei P10 Lite. It is almost impossible to find a smartphone of the same level with a virtually borderless display and an aspect ratio of 18:9 that makes it ideal for watching movies and TV series. In addition, the possibility to choose between three different models, allows the user to select the one that best suits their features and budget.

Technical features LG Q6 alpha, LG Q6, LG Q6 Plus

LG Q6 is characterized by a fairly compact design. The screen takes up most of the front of the display, partly due to the lack of a fingerprint reader. The South Korean company has made three different versions of its smartphone, which differ mainly in the amount of RAM and internal storage.

The LG Q6 alpha mounts a Snapdragon 435 supported by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The second model is the LG Q6 which has a Snapdragon 435 chipset supported by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Finally, the highest performing model is the LG Q6 Plus which mounts the Snapdragon 435 SoC supported by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

All three devices have a 5.5-inch FullVision panel as display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and 2180 x 1080 pixel resolution. The photo compartment, compared to the LG G6, loses the dual rear camera replaced by a single 13-megapixel sensor. The front camera, on the other hand, is 5 Megapixels. Finally, all three smartphones will have a 3000 mAh battery.
