LG Pro Beam, the projector that works even in the daytime

ProBeam is equipped with a laser system that produces a power of 2000 lumens of brightness. It will soon arrive on the market although the price is not yet known

Projectors are beautiful and above all very useful, but they have a flaw: they suffer from ambient light. The only way, therefore, to take full advantage of the benefits offered by these tools is to close the blinds or turn off the switch. LG has, however, had an idea.

ProBeam, this is the name given by the South Korean company to the device, promises to solve these small but annoying problems. The projector, in fact, is equipped with a laser system capable of producing an output of 2000 lumens of brightness. This means one thing: the images reflected by the device will be visible even in the presence of light. Thanks to LG’s projector, it will no longer be necessary, in fact, to darken the room. The device also pays attention to ergonomics. It weighs just over two kilograms and is designed to be placed on any table.

The heart of the device is the powerful projection lamp, common only in professional projectors. ProBeam is a candidate to be used mainly for fun and entertainment and, among the devices that are placed in this range, it is definitely one of the most performing. LG’s projector is also multimedia. The device of the Asian coorporation, in fact, integrates the Bluetooth connection that allows you to connect it with other smart tools. And that’s not all. The projector runs on the webOS operating system, the software found in LG’s smart TVs and that includes a number of applications, including Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.

Launch date and price

According to what we learn, LG’s device should hit the shelves in a few weeks. There are, however, no indications about the price, which however should not exceed the threshold expected for projectors that are positioned in this market range.
