LG has officially unveiled its new mid-range smartphone that supports 5G connectivity and features a quad configuration camera compartment and NFC for contactless payments. The new LG K92 5G will hit the market starting November 6 at a price below €350.
The South Korean smartphone brand is thus entering the market of mid-range smartphones that support 5G, but also taking advantage of the experience developed with the latest smart TVs. The new LG K92 5G is equipped with a pair of stereo speakers and optimizations of 3D Sound Engine technology, which gives it an excellent audio quality. LG’s smartphone will be launched in the U.S. market and thus prepares to compete with the “rival” OnePlus North N10 5G. The phone will arrive on the U.S. market on November 6 at a price of $ 359, about 308 euros at current exchange rates.
LG K92 5G, unveiled features
The new smartphone of the South Korean LG will count on a 6.7-inch Full HD LCD display and 1080×2400 pixel resolution with a punch hole that houses the 16-megapixel front camera. The processor is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 that supports 5G sub6 connectivity, while the GPU is Adreno 619L, and will count on 6 GB of RAM LPDDR4x and 128 GB of internal storage, expandable with microSD up to 2 TB, and with Android 10 operating system.
The camera compartment is equipped with 4 sensors: the main 64-megapixel, secondary ultra wide-angle 5-megapixel, macro and depth sensor both 2-megapixel and not missing an LED flash. It will also support 4K video at 30fps.
On the side bezel you will find a fingerprint sensor, as well as a 3.5mm audio jack. The battery is 4000 mAh with Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 charging. The color available is only one: Titan Gray, but with colored reflections.
LG K92 5G, price and launch date
The features of the new LG mid-range smartphone have been revealed near the launch date, which is set in the United States on November 6 at retailers AT&T, Cricket Wireless and Cellular.
The price for LG K92 5G is $ 359, about 308 euros at current exchange value. There is currently no word on a European market launch, where the price could be between 300 and 400 euros.
