It is also necessary to link the Instagram profile of the association or charity (which must be a business profile and not personal) to the respective Facebook page. Finally, the charity must be enabled for payments through Facebook. Once the process is complete, users can choose the charity as the recipient of the funds raised. Charities that are already enabled to receive funds via Facebook, if they have linked their Facebook page to their Instagram profile, are already ready to receive funds via Instagram Stories as well.

Donations are tied to Stories, so fundraisers can last a maximum of 24 hours. To create one you need to create a Story, with the normal photo or video, and then click on the stickers icon.
