Instagram down, doesn’t load feeds and Stories: what’s happening

An Instagram down was reported by many users of the popular social network on the morning of November 10: what’s happening to feeds and Stories

On November 10, more and more reports both on Twitter and on specialized sites such as Downdetector report an Instagram down. At the moment, the malfunctions affect apps and website, and the suspicion is that it is a problem with the servers of the social network.

The reports of malfunctions by users concern both the apps for Android and iOS smartphones, and from Instagram website. The Instagram down map drawn by the Downdetector website shows that the problem affects Europe, especially Italy. From the other continents, however, come far fewer reports. The malfunction could therefore affect the servers of the app, as users are unable to access them and if they do, the post feed and Stories appear old and stopped several hours earlier. Some of the users who were using the vintage app released by Instagram to celebrate its 10 years, would have solved it by opening the social network with the standard version.

Instagram down November 10, what’s going on

At the moment, the Instagram down malfunctions reported by several users, and in increasing numbers, are diverse in type and severity.

There are those who can’t access it from the vintage app, but using the standard version of Instagram can use it without problems.

Other users instead report that they have not been receiving updates in the Feed and Stories for several hours: in short, the app opens as usual, but the visible posts are only stopped at 8am on November 10.

Still others instead cannot access either the app from Android and iOS smartphones, or the web version of Instagram.

At the moment, the social network has not released any news and it is not clear what could cause such different malfunctions, reported throughout Europe and also in Italy. The problem seems to be a connection problem and could affect the social network’s servers.
