Huawei Mate 40, the smartphone will have a super-screen

First rumors about Huawei Mate 40: the smartphone will feature a 6.7-inch super-screen with a refresh rate of 90 Hz

The new Huawei Mate 40 smartphone still hasn’t arrived on the market, but the first rumors are starting to come out of social networks. A user on Twitter, known as RODENT950, writes that the screen could be at least 6.7 inches but with a refresh rateĀ of 90 Hz.

In recent days have been revealed features, design and possible price of the Huawei Mate 40 Pro, but the launch date is still unclear, with the smartphone that would still be in development, and little information was circulating on the screen. A mystery that now seems to be solved, with the Twitter user talking about a super screen, given that for size exceeds by 0.2 inches even the display of its predecessor, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro. A display that could be supplied to the entire Huawei Mate 40 series coming in the next few months.

Huawei Mate 40, super screen of almost 7 inches

If until now little was known about the screen supplied to the Huawei Mate 40 series, the first rumors are circulating fast. The size could be 6.7 inches, a size larger than even the predecessor Huawei Mate 30 Pro. It would be an OLED display at 90 Hz, although someone claimed it could reach a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a hypothesis that now seems buried.

Huawei Mate 40, features and price

The next smartphone from Huawei’s Mate 40 series could have a Kirin 1020 5G processor with Mali-G77 GPU, at least for the models on sale in the Chinese market. In the rest of the world, however, the bundled chipset could be a MediaTek, again with support for 5G connectivity. The RAM will be available in 6 or 8 GB, while for the internal memory there will be three possible versions: 128, 256 and 512 GB. For a super screen, then, you need a super battery of at least 4500 mAh, but it could very well be equipped with a 5000 mAh battery. Finally, the price: it could range from 565 euros for the basic model, up to 1005 euros for the Huawei Mate 40 Pro. The prices shown here, however, do not include taxes, so the cost in Italy could be higher.
