How to transfer files from PC to iPhone without using iTunes

Tired of using iTunes to share your files from computer to iPhone? No problem, on the web you can find good alternatives

Most users to transfer their files from PC to iPhone follow the classic and orthodox practice of using iTunes, a program that allows you to synchronize between the two devices images, videos, music (and more) easily and immediately. Is that all? Absolutely not.

There are, in fact, valid alternatives to Apple’s software, which also have the advantage, like iTunes, of being very easy to use. Moreover, these programs (some of them are even free), can be used indiscriminately by the computer software platform. Translated, this means that users can transfer files from their PC to their iPhone whether they have a Windows desktop device or a “fixed” device running Apple’s OS. There are different sharing modes offered by these programs. To transfer files from the computer to the bitten apple device, in fact, you can use, for example, a USB cable or, more simply, the WiFi connection.

Tunes Go

Let’s start with the first one, which lets you share data through the USB cable. Tunes Go, that’s the name of the software, is really simple to use to transfer files from your pc to your iPhone. The first move to put into practice is, of course, to download the program from the Internet. Then, once you have found the executable file on your computer, you’ll have to install the program. At this point you just have to connect your iPhone to the computer. Find the lightning cable of your Apple smartphone and connect it to the USB port. If everything went well, the program will automatically recognize the iPhone. The interface of Tunes Go is very intuitive. It divides the data into categories (music, videos, images, etc.). To make a transfer, just press the “Add” button, select a file and send it to the iPhone.

Musicbee

If you have a PC running Windows and want to transfer mainly music, a very useful program, similar to iTunes, is Musicbee. Software that also has the advantage of being completely free. The program offers many features, such as one that lets you import songs directly from iTunes. In addition, Musicbee works not only with iPhones, but also with the iPad and iPod.

MediaMokey

Another good program is MediaMokey, which, like the previous software, has the characteristic of being free. Also in this case there are many features that MediaMonkey integrates. Using the program, it is possible to manage a large number of files (music, videos, images and more). The data contained in the program can reach up to 100 thousand. MediaMokey is also useful for organizing files and creating playlists.

Foobar

Another free application for transferring files from your PC to your iPhone is Foobar. The software is characterized by simple and customizable graphics. There are many services provided by the program. One of the most important is the one that lets you manage many music files, regardless of their extension. The platform has, however, a limitation: it is an audio player. In other words, with Foobar you can only share music between your PC and iPhone.

Fidelia

One of the best software to transfer files from your PC to your iPhone is Fidelia. It is probably the best alternative to iTunes. Especially in terms of audio quality. Fidelia, then, has no problem opening different music formats or converting them. Unfortunately, however, the program has a “little big” limitation: the price. The software costs almost 20 euros. Moreover, the program is only available for Mac.

WALTR 2

Let’s close with WALTR 2. The main feature of the program, which differentiates it from the first version, is file transfer via Wi-Fi. Besides, the software supports any type of device, not only those made by Apple. With WALTR 2 it is possible to share images, music, PDF documents and, of course, videos between the PC and the iPhone. The program has a very easy-to-use interface. WALTR 2, created by Softorino, has no buttons: you load the file to be transferred and the program will immediately send it to the iPhone. The data is also perfectly organized in the iPhone according to the category to which it belongs. The only disadvantage is the price: it costs almost 40 dollars (a little more than 35 euros).
