How to download and set up Apple Photos on Windows 10

Installing iCloud on Windows 10 allows you to manage pictures taken with your iPhone directly from your computer. Here’s how to do it

Windows and Apple are two completely different worlds. And that until a few years ago had difficulties even in communicating. If you wanted to use an Apple device (iPhone or iPad) on a computer with the Windows operating system you had to be a real computer expert.

With time things have changed and it has become increasingly easy to connect your iPhone with a Windows computer. Apple developed a version of their most used programs (iTunes, iCloud) for the Redmond company’s OS as well, so that their users could use the devices at any time. Installing iCloud on Windows 10 you can even manage your photos directly from your computer, creating new folders and putting in order the images in the iPhone memory. Using Apple Photos on Windows 10 is quite simple, but you need to follow this step-by-step guide.

The first step you need to do is to download iCloud for Windows 10. The version of iCloud for the Redmond company’s OS is available for free on Apple’s website. Depending on your needs, you will be able to decide which features to enable.

How to upload and download images from Apple Photos
