Google has launched the Photobooks feature for Google Foto also in Italy. In this way we can print photo albums with our photos in a few clicks
Google announced that it has launched also in Italy the function Photobooks for the Google Foto service. Thanks to this new tool, we can print real photo albums using the images saved in our Google account and made with smartphones or digital cameras.
To tell the truth, this is not an absolute novelty in the panorama of Google services. Photo books, in fact, have been available for some time in the United States, where anyone could compose their own photo album and have it printed on professional paper directly from their Google Photos profile. Now Italian users will be able to do the same thing: all you need is an active Google account and photos saved in the Big G photo cloud to create online photo books of your last vacation, a ceremony or any other event you want.
How does Google Photo Books work?
At this point most of you are probably wondering: how do I create my photo book with Google Photos? Simple, first let’s launch the app, or register after downloading it if we’ve never used it before. Then we select from the gallery of the app the shots that we prefer and that we want to include in the photo book. Google, thanks to its artificial intelligence, will suggest the arrangement of the photos in the album according to their beauty. The AI will also help us to remove any duplicates inserted by mistake or those blurry and low quality photos. At this point we just have to press Create to get a preview of our photobook. Once we’ve had a look at the final result, we can decide whether or not to buy the Google Photo Book and receive it at home.
How much do Google Photo Books cost?
Google Photo Books can be made and bought either from a computer or from an Android smartphone or iPhone. The shipping price in Italy is standard and is 5.99 euros. To this figure must be added the prices of the various pages and photos: Photobook with soft cover 18 x 18 cm: € 12.99 for 20 pages, € 0.49 per additional page, up to 100 pages; Photobook with hard cover 23 x 23 cm: € 22.99 for 20 pages, € 0.69 per additional page, up to 100 pages.
