Change or reset Apple ID password
The Apple ID account is a fundamental requirement for every user who wants to use a service of the Cupertino company: from downloading apps from the App Store, to listening to songs from Apple Music, to saving data on iCloud, and so on. The first requirement to change or reset the password is to know the email address associated with the account.
If you want to change the access key and you know the current one, you can follow a precise procedure on iPhone and iPad running iOS 10.3 or later. Go to Settings > Your Name > Password & Security. At this point tap on the “change password” item. To proceed you must enter your current one and enter confirmation to choose a new one. At this point the system will ask you to change it by tapping on Change Password. After entering and confirming it, you will be able to log into your Apple ID using the new access key.
If you want to change your Apple ID password from Mac, you will need to go to the Security > section; Change Password. After entering your current one, you’ll have to type in the new one and go to Confirm.
