Telegram is one of the most used platforms for instant messaging in Italy. Very simple and intuitive, it manages to connect millions of people and allows you to get to know others, even while remaining anonymous. If you already use this application and don’t know how Telegram anonymous chats work, don’t worry, with this article everything will be a little less “anonymous”.
Talking with other people without revealing your identity might intrigue many people and, thanks to Telegram, today we can do it. To know how to create anonymous chats on Telegram you can follow our article and read all the directions we will give you. First of all, you should know that anonymous chats are not all the same. An anonymous chat is a conversation between two people who do not know each other and who will never have the chance to do so, unless they purposely reveal their identity. However, this feature doesn’t come with Telegram, but we need a specific Telegram bot. Bots are fake users, composed of a set of codes, that allow chat interactions between real users. In order to be used, the bots must be paired with other identical bots, to start conversations and chat about any topic.
As we said before, the anonymous chats of Telegram, are not all the same. For example, if you want to talk to one of your contacts without leaving even a trace at the end of your conversation, you can activate the secret chat feature. Secret chats differ from regular chats in that they use end-to-end encryption. This way, only the two concerned contacts will be able to read this conversation and no one else, not even Telegram managers. These chats are not even saved on the cloud and remain only on the device used to chat. You also have the ability to set a timer to decide when these messages should be deleted forever, from your device and that of our contact.
How to make anonymous chats on Telegram
The method to create anonymous chats on Telegram is very easy and fast. The first thing to do is to choose the solution that interests us most between a Telegram group and a bot, then you will have to write the message and the conversation will start. We already know that you must be wondering what are the most suitable bots to start meeting new people without showing your identity. You will be able to use Chat Incognito Bot, which will first let you choose the language you are interested in, and then it will start the anonymous chat randomly. To use this bot you’ll have to open Telegram, click on “chat” that you’ll find in the bottom menu, type the name of the bot @chatincognitobot, then in the section “search for messages or users” select the name that appears among the results that appeared to you and you can start your anonymous conversation.
If you’re using Telegram from PC more or less the process is the same. You’ll have to enter the name of the bot in the top left corner in the “search” section, click on the chosen bot, which should be the first result to come up and in the end, open the chat. To start the anonymous conversation click on the “start” button to begin the interaction with the bot, then you can choose the language of interest in “set your language” and click on “new chat”. You will be randomly connected with another user and to start the conversation you just need to write a message and send it with the button that has the arrow icon. Gli abbinamenti tra utenti possono essere fatti in modo prettamente casuale, ma hai anche la possibilità di impostare alcuni filtri, che ti permetteranno di selezionare:
- la fascia di età (inserendo la tua data di nascita e la fascia degli interlocutori con cui vorrai parlare),
- la posizione (per autorizzare il bot ad abbinarti con persone nelle tue vicinanze),
- Il sesso (puoi far sapere il tuo genere e decidere di che sesso devono essere le persone con cui vuoi parlare), ma questa funzione deve essere sbloccata. Potrai farlo solo dopo aver inviato cinque amici a usare Chat Incognito Bot.
Chattare in anonimo dai gruppi
Una tra le altre soluzione per chattare in anonimo è farlo attraverso i gruppi. Telegram groups allow you to start conversations, which can be public or private, with users present within the group. Now click on “phone number” and “profile picture” and select “my contacts” to limit the display of your phone number and profile picture to your contacts only. You can also limit the display of your last chat access and decide not to show your status. Per diventare membro di un gruppo e iniziare conversazioni, dalla schermata principale di Telegram, entra nella sezione “chat” e digita nel campo “cerca messaggi o utenti” il nome del gruppo che ti piace. Scelto il gruppo che dovrebbe essere il primo risultato utile, devi cliccare su “unisciti” per diventare un membro e partire con le chat con gli altri membri. Se vorrai Telegram ti da l’opzione di poter iniziare una conversazione privata, non anonima, con un membro del tuo stesso gruppo. Per iniziare clicca sulla foto dell’utente che ti interessa e scegli tra le possibilità disponibili:
- “invia messaggio” per iniziare una conversazione normale,
- “inizia chat segreta” per una conversazione che potrà poi essere eliminata e non sarà mai salvata sul cloud.
Se per chat anonima su Telegram, intendi chat segreta, la procedura che dovrai eseguire è la stessa sia se utilizzi uno smartphone o che tu utilizzi un tablet. La stessa vale anche se accedi da Telegram da PC. Si parte selezionando il contatto che hai scelto e che avrà con te una chat segreta, dovrai accedere al suo profilo e selezionare l’opzione “inizia chat segreta”. Per iniziare apri Telegram e scegli l’opzione “chat” che è caratterizzata dall’icona a forma di nuvoletta.
Se ti era già capitato di avere conversazioni segrete con questo utente, clicca sul suo contatto. As we had already mentioned, for secret chats, you can set a timer for self-destructing messages. If you have an Android device, you have to click on the icon that has three dots in the upper right corner and choose the option “self-destruct timer”, then you can set the timer that can go from a minimum of 1 second to a maximum of one week.
If your device is an iPhone or if it is a PC, you will have to click on the clock icon that is located next to the “message” item and choose the option that interests you most. When you’re done, you can click on “done” and set the timer for the self-destruction of the conversation.
Doubts and concerns
With the directions we have provided, if you have followed them to the letter, you should not have any kind of problem. However, if you have any doubts or concerns about Telegram anonymous chats, you can go to the FAQ section of the application and try to find the answers to what is still not quite clear. Obviously to enter the FAQ section you’ll have to open the Telegram app, from a fixed or mobile device, access your profile settings through the icon in the shape of a gear wheel. This will open a new screen where you can view “FAQ Telegram”.
If, on the other hand, the problem arose when you tried to add a bot in order to chat anonymously, you must always go to the “settings” section, choose the “ask a question” option, then click on “ok “and finally click on “start”. If you can not access Telegram you can still find solutions by connecting to the support pages of Telegram, write in the field “please describe your problem” the problem that you encountered and enter your information in the fields “your phone number” and “your email” (you must write your phone number and your email). Now click on “submit” to send your request to the customer service.
