Lo smartphone arriverà in tre diverse versioni che si differenziano solamente per il quantitativo di RAM e di memoria interna. A bordo dell’Honor 9 Lite troviamo il chipset Kirin 659 supportato da 3GB o 4GB di RAM e da 32GB o 64GB di memoria interna (espandibile con una microSD). Lo smartphone ha uno schermo da 5.65 pollici con rapporto d’aspetto di 18:9 (come tutti i dispositivi usciti negli ultimi mesi) e una risoluzione 2160×1080 pixel.
