Honor 50 Lite has arrived in Italy: design and 4 cameras at the right price

Honor’s mid-low-end phone also arrives in Italy: good design, 4 cameras and a super charge at a low price, but not outrageous

Just ten days after the arrival of Honor 50 in our country, now it’s the turn of the “little brother” Honor 50 Lite: he too will arrive in Italy, in a few days. Honor, therefore, seems to be back on the launch pad after the forced stop due to the well-known diatribe between the U.S. government and Huawei, its former parent company from which it is now completely independent.

So independent that, unlike Huawei smartphones, Honor’s ones can use the official versions of Android and Google Mobile Services (replaced, on Huawei phones, by the corresponding Huawei Mobile Services). Nothing, therefore, prohibits Huawei to sell “normal” smartphones all over the world, including Italy, but during the forced stop the competition has become quite fierce and Honor must respond blow for blow, even on the price front. Here, then, that Honor 50 Lite is a good phone in the mid-range, at the launch price all things considered fair. Its strengths in addition to the price? The design, cameras and a very fast charging.

Honor 50 Lite: technical characteristics

Honor 50 Lite is a smartphone well positioned in the low-medium range, within which performance is not what the user is looking for. And, for that, Honor’s new Lite is built around a chip with sufficient performance, but certainly not screaming: the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662.

The memory configurations to choose from are two: 6/128 GB or 8/128 GB (but in Italy comes only the 6/128), in both cases the storage memory is not expandable, because there is no slot for microSD cards.

The screen is an IPS LCD type, 6.67 inches, but Honor does not specify the refresh rate. The resolution, however, is known: 1,080×2,376 pixels, or FHD +, for 391 dots per inch of density.

Ben 4 rear cameras: main 64 MB wide-angle type, an ultra-wide-angle 8 MP and two 2 MP sensors, respectively, for Macro photos and for the calculation of the depth (ie for the bokeh effect). Due to the not-so-powerful processor, the Honor 50 Lite can record at most Full HD videos at 30 frames per second. The front camera, however, is a wide-angle 16 MP.

Honor 50 Lite is marketed in three colors: Midnight Black, Space Silver, Deep Sea Blue. It will be available in a few days: from November 26 you can pre-order it on the official Honor website, while from December 3 it will also be available in stores, both physical and online (including on Amazon).

The price is not very low, but it’s not bad for an Honor: 299 euros for the 6/128 GB version. Those who pre-order it on November 26 on Honor’s website, however, will get it at the discounted price of 249.90 euros (but it’s a very limited offer, with very few pieces available).
