Huawei 20 should have the Kirin 980 with 6/8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of internal storage. Coming in spring at a launch price there about 500 euros
It will be called Honor 20 the next top of the range that we will see on the market. This is what leaks from the Far East, where some anticipations with features and functionality have been published on Weibo, the most widely used social network in China. The smartphone should arrive very soon on the market, probably after the presentation of the Huawei P30.
As you well know, Honor is a subsidiary of Huawei and they share know-how and technological platforms. And very often the target audience as well. This rule, however, does not apply to top of the range devices. In recent years, Huawei has specialized in the production of premium smartphones, while Honor has stopped a step lower. The Honor 10 and Honor View 20, for example, lack premium features found on the P20 and Mate 20 Pro. With the Honor 20, however, the Chinese company wants to take a decisive step forward and offer users a smartphone that not only has a great price-performance ratio, but also some premium features.

Rumors from China allow us to precisely outline the features of the Honor 20. On board the smartphone we will find a hardware platform widely used by Honor and Huawei in recent months: the Kirin 980, chipset made with a 7-nanometer architecture and that guarantees very high performance. In support we will find 6/8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of internal memory. The Honor 20 should be made in three different versions that differ in RAM and storage space.
The screen will be the same present on the Honor View 20: OLED display with 6.1-inch diagonal and FullHD+ resolution. Sul design sono poche le informazioni a disposizione. Honor potrebbe optare per lo schermo con il foro, come presente sul View 20, o su un più classico notch a goccia.
Molto interessante il comparto fotografico. Honor 20 avrà una tripla fotocamera posteriore con sensore principale da 48 Megapixel (realizzato da Sony), un obiettivo grandangolare da 20 Megapixel e una lente da 8 Megapixel per lo zoom (3x). La fotocamera anteriore sarà da 16 o 20 Megapixel.
La batteria sarà da 3650mAh con il supporto alla ricarica rapida da 44W che dovrebbe garantire oltre il 50% di autonomia in pochi minuti. Honor 20 avrà anche funzionalità pensate per il gaming che permetteranno di sfruttare al massimo la piattaforma hardware senza aumentare la temperatura dello smartphone.
Prezzo e data di uscita Honor 20
Non c’è ancora una data ufficiale per l’Honor 20, molto probabilmente uscirà nel mese di aprile, dopo la presentazione del P30 da parte di Huawei. Cominciano a trapelare, invece, le prime informazioni sul prezzo dell’Honor 20:
- Honor 20 6/128GB: 2999 yuan (395 euro al cambio attuale)
- Honor 20 8/128GB: 3399 yuan (450 euro al cambio attuale)
- Honor 20 8/256GB: 3799 yuan. (500 euro al cambio attuale)
Probabilmente con l’arrivo in Italia i prezzi delle singole versioni potrebbero subire un aumento di circa 40-50 euro. Ancora qualche settimane e ne sapremo sicuramente di più.
