Google Calendar is updated with fitness features

The Mountain View company’s application is updated to include the ability to keep track of your workouts and goals

With the start of the new year and the end of the holidays, Google decided to update its Calendar to offer new features to users who care about their figure. In fact, the app now supports Google Fit and shows your workouts and goals on the calendar.

Google Calendar is one of the most important applications developed by the Mountain View company in recent years and a true centerpiece of Android smartphones. You can find all your appointments for the day in the app, and it integrates perfectly with other services made by Big G, such as Google Maps and Gmail. With the latest update, Google wanted to give a gift to all fitness enthusiasts: you can now keep track of your workout schedule, your goals and the ones you’ve already completed.

Google Calendar Update

With the update released by the Mountain View company, all data collected via fitness trackers or hybrid smartwatches will be integrated directly into the app and will always be available in the “Goals” section. The application will be able to predict when the user will have to go to the gym and will alert him through a notification on the smartphone. A function very similar to the one already available with appointments.
