Thanks to the latest images leaking from the Net, you can discover all the technical characteristics of the Galaxy S10e. Here’s how it will be
A few days after the spread of the first official images of the new Galaxy S10, now come the first photos of the Galaxy S10e, that is, the low-cost version of the top-of-the-line phone of the Korean manufacturer. These are leaked images, so not official, but the device shown in these images seems to be the final one.
Thanks to the photos leaked and published on the Net is not only possible to admire the next low-cost smartphone of the South Korean manufacturer, but also confirm all the technical specifications of the Galaxy S10e (or Galaxy S10 Lite) so far known. There is no longer the notch, which makes way for the “display with a hole”, with the front camera placed in the right corner of the screen; there is the new One UI user interface, which should make its debut in top of the range Samsung with the update to Android 9 Pie; there is the dual horizontal rear camera flanked by the flash. In short, all the anticipations of recent weeks were correct and, although there are still two weeks to the official presentation, the Galaxy S10e now we know almost everything.
As will be the Galaxy S10e
As expected, the Samsung Galaxy S10e will have a screen 5.8-inch FHD + (2280×1080 pixels) Infinity-O type, ie with very thin edges and circular notch 5 mm in diameter, in the upper right, which integrates the front camera (which is supposed to have a resolution of 10 MP). A solution that at first glance would seem very similar to that already seen in the Galaxy A8s. As a result, the top status bar appears quite large, since it flanks the camera hole. A design solution that will please some and displease someone else, confirming how difficult it is today for designers to get the right notch on smartphones.
Galaxy S10e, photo compartment
The rear camera will not be triple, as for the big brother S10, but only double: one 12 MP and one 16 MP. From the Galaxy S10 this low cost version inherits instead the Exynos 9820 processor, while the Ram will be limited to 6 GB and the storage memory to 128 GB. It will also lack the PowerShare system for wireless sharing of battery charge (which will be 3,100 mAh), while there will be the fingerprint sensor, but it will not be integrated into the screen as for the Galaxy S10: Samsung preferred to place it laterally.
Galaxy S10, new One UI interface
Evident from the photo of the smartphone turned on, finally, the One UI customization of Samsung to the operating system Android Pie 9 . Among the available colors there will be Canary Yellow in addition to the classic black, white and green. The Samsung Galaxy S10e, like the rest of the S10 range, will be presented in San Francisco on February 20 and will be pre-orderable from the next day. The price should be about $ 850, in accordance with the technical characteristics of this device that could bring Samsung excellent sales volumes worldwide. Not a few people believe, in fact, that the Galaxy S10e will be the real “iPhone XR Killer”, the most credible Android alternative to the Apple smartphone that has a price and technical specifications absolutely comparable.
