The Galaxy M51 is available for pre-order on Samsung’s website in Germany. Most of the features and the price of the smartphone are confirmed
We’ve been talking about it for several weeks and now the confirmation is here: Samsung has (almost) officially announced the Galaxy M51. In Germany, in fact, official pre-orders have been opened with the estimated shipping date of September 11. So it’s very close to the presentation (which most likely will be through a press release) and to the launch on the market.
The opening of pre-orders has also allowed to clarify a fundamental aspect: the data sheet. Most of the features are now well known: the Galaxy M51 will have a super 7000mAh battery that will ensure an autonomy of at least a couple of days and four rear cameras, including a main sensor of 64 megapixels. At the base of the hardware architecture there will be the Snapdragon 730G chipset, which guarantees good performance and is optimized for gaming. Also revealed the price of the smartphone: the Galaxy M51 will cost 360 euros. And most likely it will also be available in Italy.
Galaxy M51, the technical sheet
A technical sheet of which we already knew a lot and that now is practically official. The base of the Galaxy M51 will be the Snapdragon 730G, mid-range processor that ensures good performance. To support 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory, expandable via microSD. The screen will be 6.7 inches with FullHD + resolution. The design is characterized by the presence of a notch placed at the top center of the screen.
Very interesting also the photographic compartment chosen by Samsung for its mid-range. There are four photo sensors placed at the back: 64 Megapixel main, 12 Megapixel wide-angle and two 5 Megapixel sensors for macro photos and capturing depth of field information. The front-facing camera is 32 Megapixels.
The battery definitely remains the most interesting feature of the device: it is 7000mAh and provides a battery life of more than a day. Charging is 25W and takes a couple of hours. The fingerprint reader is placed on the side.
Galaxy M51 release date and price
The pre-order page indicates as the Galaxy M51 shipping date September 11. So there are less than two weeks until the official launch of the device. Also shown the price of the low-cost smartphone: 360 euros. Two colors are available: white and black.
