Samsung is ready to launch a lowcost 5G smartphone with great technical features: here’s how it will look
We are just a few days away from the start of IFA 2019, a trade fair dedicated to consumer electronics that takes place in Berlin, where this year the new Samsung Galaxy A90 should be unveiled as a world premiere. In recent months, the low-cost 5G smartphone from the South Korean giant has been at the center of numerous rumors that have revealed its features and technical specifications.
The latest in order of time confirm what was anticipated during the last few weeks. The smartphone will be a true top of the range, despite being part of the Galaxy A range, usually dedicated to less performing devices. The goal of Samsung is to lower the price of 5G devices: so far those who want to try the new super fast network must spend a figure close to 1000 euros. The Galaxy A90 should have a technical card of all respect, starting with the Snapdragon 855 processor supported by 6GB of RAM. In the rear should be present as many as 3 cameras with 48 Megapixel main sensor.
Samsung Galaxy A90: technical specifications
Online have also appeared photos of the alleged packaging of the device that help to understand the design of the smartphone. In the front there will be a small teardrop notch positioned centrally. The AMOLED display is expected to be 6.7 inches with FullHD+ resolution. Under the shell of the Galaxy A90 we find the octa-core Snapdragon 855 processor, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There will be, logically, also the 5G router produced by the same Qualcomm. The battery should have a capacity of 4500 mAh or 4,400 mAh with support for 25W fast charging.
In the back there will be a photo compartment with a triple rear camera with 48 MegaPixel, 5 MegaPixel and 8 MegaPixel sensors. From 32 MegaPixel the front camera sensor.
Samsung Galaxy A90: Tilt OIS technology
But the news does not end there. The always well-informed Evleaks, born Evan Blass, has published on his YouTube channel two Samsung promotional videos dedicated precisely to the new Galaxy A90. The two videos show a preview of a number of exclusive features of the new low-cost phone of the Korean giant and, in particular, the much rumored Tilt OIS. It would be a new technology developed to keep the object photographed always in a straight position and well centered. Basically, the lens is able to follow the movements of the camera by tilting up or down depending on the position of the camera. A very useful feature for recording videos on the move.
