Fortnite Season 11 postponed: what happened

Postponed the arrival of Fortnite Season 11: the new competitive Battle Royal challenges will only start between October 13 and 17

Bad news for Fortnite fans: the long-awaited Season 11 has been officially postponed. The news comes following the release of the 10.40.1 update on October 2, in which there are new challenges for Season 10 that will extend beyond October 10. This means that Fortnite Season 11 will begin between October 13 and 17, 2019.

For now, Season 10 has reserved a number of important surprises for all Fortnite fans, starting with the devastating power assigned to Brute mechs and immediately depowered by the developers of Epic Games because they distorted the philosophy of the game, up to the discovery of the immortality bug made possible by the use of some default skins and available to all players. We still do not know what’s new in Season 11, but soon Epic Games will begin to release the first previews.

Fortnite Season 11: the reason for the postponement

This is a postponement in a sense due, as the Season 10 was to end this Sunday, October 6 with the final event. But Epic Games has not yet finished releasing special content dedicated to Season 10 (the overtime challenges, the secret challenges dedicated to the audio tapes of the Visitor/Scientist), which should arrive just this weekend. In short, it seems Epic Games is behind schedule and has seen fit to postpone the official release of Season 11, which will begin on a day between October 13 and 17.

Fortnite Season 11: expected news

Fortnite will introduce a great novelty in Season 11 of its successful online saga. For the first time in the game will make the appearance of the bots, or of the virtual players who will behave in all respects as players “in the flesh” and offering them the opportunity to improve and refine their skills and abilities of the game.

The bots will take advantage of the new matchmaking system introduced with the last update 10.40 and, with the increase in skills, will be fewer and fewer bots that each new player will be forced to face. Epic Games then stated that, at least for now, bots will not be available in competitive playlists.
