The company Slickwraps has created Contour, a 3D printer that costs 300 euros and that wraps your smartphone in minutes with a disposable cover
Cover enthusiasts? Then the Contour 3D printer is for you. With this machine, you can quickly make a new phone case in any color you want. The Contour 3D printer is the first to print smartphone cases.
There’s no need for big projects or prototypes to make. Just place your smartphone under the scanner so the printer takes the perfect measurements of your device and then choose the color you want. The 3D printer supports even the most eccentric and extravagant ones. The protection will be made in the material 3M Vinyl. The same sensor that takes the measurements of the phone also recognizes cameras, logos and other accessories of the smartphone and prevents the cover made from covering the components of the device. Of course, it’s also possible to make custom covers that don’t just follow the phone’s measurements.
How does the Contour 3D printer work
