Clips, Apple’s new app to create unique videos

Apple launches Clips, an app that will allow users to create expressive videos with animated titles and subtitles. The app is free

Even Apple wants to have its say in the area of software to create funny videos and launches Clips, a very easy-to-use app available for free to all iOS users on the App Store. The goal is to make it fun for its users to edit videos to share instantly on iMessage and social platforms.

The videos created with Clips are perfect to upload to social profiles or streaming video platforms: short, funny and above all engaging. The user can customize the videos by inserting filters, emoticons and music. All this without having to use complicated software for video editing: Clips is very easy to use and just a few touches on the smartphone screen are enough to create a funny movie. The application also provides music that will automatically adapt depending on the length of the video, but the user has great freedom of choice.

How Clips Works

Another very interesting feature present on Clips is Live Titles, which allows you to edit live videos. The user will be able to create animated titles and subtitles by simply using their voice. The movie will be like a small comic book, with the user’s subtitles appearing directly on the screen, synchronized with the rest of the video. As mentioned, Clips is available for free on the App Store and is compatible with the iPhone 5s and later models, iPad Air, iPad Pro and iPad Mini 2 and all later versions.
