The Sky Original productions are now unstoppable, the latest title in the works is Blocco 181, a TV series that also sees the participation of the famous rapper Salmo in the role of supervisor, music producer, creative producer and actor. It will be a show centered on the multiethnic communities of Milan.
The series produced by Sky Studios will be composed of 8 episodes and will allow to know better the urban ecosystem and its complex facets: it will talk about generational clashes, struggle for the conquest of power and struggle for women’s emancipation, all points of reflection absolutely current. The building complex Block 181 will be the theater of the stories of revenge, love, struggle and freedom that will follow each other during the different episodes. Shooting will begin in the Lombard capital during the summer in 2021, but the production has already revealed some details of the plot, but also the characters and the cast, composed mainly of emerging actors.

Blocco 181 is the name of the building complex located in the outskirts of Milan: this will be the setting of the eponymous TV series. The plot is centered on the vicissitudes of a group of boys of the neighborhood. There will be Bea, a Latin American girl who will find herself torn between loyalty to family and friends with the desire to change her life. Along with her we will meet other young people, including Ludo and Mahdi, two friends united as brothers.
The series is produced by Sky Studios and produced by Tapeless Film and Red Joint Film. Sky has relied on Salmo, who will have several roles: he will be the supervisor and music producer, but also the creative producer and will also have a role in the series.

At the direction we will find great names of Italian TV and cinema: Giuseppe Capotondi has already worked in Suburra – La serie, La tela dell’Inganno and La doppia ora.
Ciro Visco instead directed the series Gomorra and Doc – Nelle tue mani. Infine, Matteo Bonifazio ha lavorato per diverse campagne pubblicitarie di brand internazionali.
Sarà quindi un prodotto innovativo, che intende raccontare tutte le sfumature della periferia milanese.
